It was no surprise when the Blazers came out swinging in Game 5, building a double-digit first-half lead and maintaining their advantage each time the Warriors looked primed to take control. With Curry and Andrew Bogut playing a very good game they were both in the paint helping eachother out with FG and 3PT.
The Blazers held a five-point lead at halftime, but even that felt tenuous. Curry had yet to find his rhythm, Draymond Green had not made a field goal and Portland was only up 53-48 despite hitting 9 of 19 three-pointers in the first half.
